Final chub of the season
Good evening,
I hope you all had a fun season on the rivers. It was a funny old one for me on the Gt Ouse. Constant floods, inconsistent high and low temptetures, and no time, which left me with a very small window of opportunity to try and snag a few chub.
However with that said when I have been able to flick some bait out, I've not done bad at all. The below photos were my last chub of the season. A short session which turned out fruitful on the morning of March 14th.
Now its time to wind down, dust off and catch up on some of those books that have piled up and spend time with family in France.
Tight lines and stay safe

Perfection, well done.
If you have no grease with you, and your rings are full of ice, do not cut out the ice with a pen-knife but get your man to put the rings one by one in his mouth, and so to thaw the ice.

Lovely fish, the second one looks particularly beefy!
