home made traditional landing net

Made some other form of traditional fishing tackle.

I got around the problem By using a modern soft micromesh, cutting off the sleeves and threading cord around the arms secured on the net.

Have a look at cane carp landing net in the other tackle DIY thread, there's a couple of pics :Thumb:

Certainly much kinder to the fish and doesn't look out of place in my mind.

After some comments and advise received to my original post, I have modified my net frame with a new smaller, softer fish friendly net mesh, and it shows the cane arms through the green mesh nicely

Hi Champ,
The e-bay seller ID was qfished, put the seller ID in the advance search for all items
it was a complete net head I bought, at £9.75 incl p&p
