Hants Avon Roach - this week is spawning week!

I would thoroughly recommend (if you haven't already looked) having a good 'gander' at the Avon Roach Project site.

One of the amazing details I read just now was that in four of the last six years, regardless of the weather and on which stretch, the roach gathered and spawned on the boards on April 25th (and on one of the other two years, they chose the 24th!).

Tonight I shall be raising a glass and wishing the little and not so little redfins all the best of British in their procreation this week!
