one week today!!

Post by St.John »

Well, in a week today I'll be on redmire..... CAN'T WAIT!!! So all week I'll be packing, repackaging, cleaning, repairing and basically doing alot of needless fiddling in an impatient, carp fuelled frenzy! As well as rituals of reading casting and four seasons. Poor nella-she'll be sick of the sight of me by Saturday night! It's a weedy year this year so tougher line and stalking tactics are probably going to feature heavily.

Na, I always loose them and miss stuff off! I only live 5 minutes away so it ain't a major to nip home!! Defiantly.won't sleep the night before, I never do! Problem is I have a gig in carleon on the Monday night-what a wrench leaving the pool that will be! This week I will mainly be stewing hemp...... Whoooohahahahaha (evil laugh). The set in the mkiv needs to be addressed and line on all reels replaced. Altex no3 needs a new bailarm nut, New tipring on my horrible but useful little glass spinning rod, last minute tackle stick up-the list goes on and on.

The last week wait is like when you were a kid waiting for Santa isn't it? Amazing really that we can still get soooooo excited about a little pool?
Sin....you couldn't post the details of the Broome Farm sausage and bacon supplier could you? Or PM if you prefer......I know lots like BF cider......but a breakfast at Redmire with such gorgeous snap is something I'd like to get organised
Enjoy your preparations and have a great week!

Actually the sausage man is toby lovell, the singer in my band and a really old friend. I'll put his number in the hut. Pm on the way.
