Hello from NE Scotland
Hello and thank you for allowing me to join the forum, I now live in Angus, but was born in Leicestershire and spent most of my life coarse fishing on the waters of the Midlands and East Anglia. I later ventured further afield once I passed my driving test, fishing the Warwickshire Avon, The Severn, The Thames and the rivers of Hampshire and Dorset. I now mostly fly fish with a nice small river cane rod, but I do have some Roach and Grayling fishing on the Tay system not far from me, I am also trying to gain access to a couple of small Lochans that have some Perch and Pike in them. My prized possession rod is a built cane rod made to my requirements by Stephen Wooley in the 1990's for Barbel and Chub fishing, I will try and put up some photographs later.

Thank you, I have a lot of reading to do, bringing back some memories, I will resist from posting on the old threads and will post new ones if I think they may be of interest, it's going to be old memories. I was a member of the N.A.S.A for a while and did have one article published, I have a copy of the magazine somewhere, I was also briefly a member of the Tenchfishers, but didn't continue as I was unable to contribute much, nor attend the meetings in the old pumphouse at Sywell.
