Book of Chris Yates Photographs?
Hello All,
Something that has made me wonder recently: Mr. Yates is obviously well know for his writing but I've seen several mentions of him being a photographer. I can't help but wonder if he has ever published a book of photographs or if anyone has heard of any plans to? I am much a photography nut as I am a fishing nut so something like this would tick several boxes for me.
Jim

Not that I am aware of Jim.

Album covers and book covers I believe. It would be nice to know which ones.
However he probably does not own the rights to them if they were commercial commissions.
Somewhere, but I can't remember where, I read his lovely description of using toy soldiers to create a Napoleonic (or similar) battle scene. I have a suspicion it might be in "How to Fish".

The mention about the brandy ad was in the World According to Chris Yates interviewsDeaf Cat wrote:Album covers and book covers I believe. It would be nice to know which ones.

To enjoy our sport as it should be enjoyed, our surroundings must be beautiful, for your true angler enjoys nature as much as he enjoys fishing. "BB"

The Colonel got his GSC name from dressing up for a Yatesy photo.
Maybe he can regale us with a tale or two....

At least one Dick Francis book cover was a Chris Yates photo I believe. Cannot remember which one(s) though?Deaf Cat wrote:Album covers and book covers I believe. It would be nice to know which ones.

I'd like to hear a few tales too.
God never did make a more calm, quiet, innocent recreation than angling.

The commercial stuff would be interesting to see, just to see another side of the man. He surely has quite a few piscatorial photographs laying about, those would be wonderful to see.
