There seem to be a lot of anglers who have trouble with the Wallis Cast and I want to suggest that they try the BC or Sidecast.
Do not be put off by the name. This Cast can be used from the left or right hand sides and can be used overhead, so it is more than a good substitute. When you learn this one you start off by using one hand only - no line running over your thumb or fingers.
Please go to You Tube and go to Fishing and then type in BC or Sidecast and the bloke demonstrating makes it all very clear.
It is worth while I can assure you.
Please let me know how you get on if you decide to give it a try.
I hope the will help a lot of people out.
