Shaun Linsley The Perfection Landing Net
Shaun Linsley The Perfection Landing Net
Just been and picked up my new addition.
I currently have nets from Paul Cook and Agutters but just could not pass this opportunity up.
Needs a tiny bit of varnish in places but other than that is in great condition at 18 years old.
Can't wait to use it, maybe it's got a story or two to tell, maybe Fennel could share a few?? You never know.

Very nice indeed well done
Chance is always powerful. Let your hook be always cast; in the pool where you least expect it, there will be a fish

Splendid, Sir !

Re: Shaun Linsley The Perfection Landing Net
I have the one piece Shaun Linsley The Perfection Landing Net version, stands proudly along side my Barder nets & handles. Its a very capable handle and net, mine has a different designed brass spreader and is a tad younger at 14 years old ....

look's beautiful....and expensive,no luck on the lottery tonight so I will continue to use my homemade 5ft whole cane job c/w 1970's net head (modern net ) it does have a matching whole cane rod rest!
enjoy your net and the fish you land with it.

Surprisingly not as much as you would think!! Less than £100!!!
Bargain!!
Regardless of that it is a lovely well made net that I will love and use as it should be.

Spooky, I bought mine from Mullocks Auctions quite a few years back, with sales fees, £105..... Still consider it a sublime net and handle...ErrabundusPiscator wrote:Surprisingly not as much as you would think!! Less than £100!!!

That was an amazing buy, in my opinion for less than £100.

I have looked at net even more closely and I love it - very well made (some have said in the past that Mr Linsley's work was over engineered but personally I love it) and has made me wish I had never sold the Wallis Avon that I had of his!
