What's going on?

So last week, I bought on eBay a KPM 'Popular' centrepin. It's listed on My eBay as 'dispatched' but to my surprise exactly the same item (same seller, same photos, same minor defect) reappears today as item 111604068902. I'm away from home at the moment so can't check if it's been delivered. I've emailed the seller but had no reply yet. Anybody had a similar experience?

Hope you did not spend too much money on it. To it happened once that the seller had two similar items and was too lazy to make new pictures. Put this was sincerely another price category. A shame to such people. Hope it takes a good end!

Perhaps he hit the relist button by mistake. Does it have a tracking number ? If so, you can check the courier/post office website to see if it has been delivered :-)

As Hoppy-Dofton suggests, Sir ... cmpare the handles on the two reels and you'll see that they are different. Well spotted, H-D.

Indeed, the seller finally got back to me with this. By some quirk ebay showed exactly the same four pics on both to me, which it doesn't do now. Still can't understand how someone came to be selling two nearly identical reels both with exactly the same defect.

Thanks for that. I'm in Guadeloupe currently and am getting weird things happening to my internet feed. Or it could have been too much rum last night. Or I'm finally going doolally.
