Hello All,
I've managed to chip a piece off the foot of one of my much beloved and used 330's... dropped it on the concrete garage floor. Is there anyway I may re-attach the broken piece, or should I just nicely file it down? The reel is a user rather than a museum piece and carries its battle scares well.
Thanks Cat

Ask Evert van der Plas - a member of this forum - who seems to specialise in reel repairs!

Re: Dam Quick 330 foot damage?
Thinking about it, it might be better to send me the reel as the internals may not necessarily fit your reel. I will sort that for you. You may want to hurry up as my "workshop" (man cave) is about to be closed for a move from July and I am not sure when everything is arranged again. At the moment I know pretty well where to find the tools and parts

Ah Jeremy...just paying my debts. TFF! Give-and-take...German 1:1 translation...does this expression make sense in English, too?Jeremy Croxall wrote: ↑Thu May 30, 2019 10:39 pm What a lovely gesture from Christopher. Well done sir, a most generous deed!

"Give and take" is usually a term used to describe a compromise situation, where as your gift to a fellow forum member is an act of generosity within the spirit of the forum. It is always gratifying to be able to help a fellow member especially when you have received help yourself. Maybe "sharing favours" is a good way to describe this behaviour?OldTackle wrote: ↑Thu May 30, 2019 11:33 pmAh Jeremy...just paying my debts. TFF!
