Another newcomer
Hello everyone
My name is John from Whitstable in Kent. Got back into fishing after a shorty forty year break. I fish in traditional ways, chub, roach, Rudd, tench and perch my favoured quarries. At the moment my kit is of modern design apart from some old 506 reels which I’ve been using for trotting the River Stour through the outskirts of Canterbury. Wanting more control I’ve treated myself to a Speedia pin and that’s what’s brought me to this forum in search of tips on arbours and if these wonderful 3D printed ones I read of are still being produced.
I’m sure like many, my first rod over fifty years ago was a cane rod, most probably from Woolworths, I don’t suppose it will be long before I start looking into owning another cane rod to compliment my centre pin.

Welcome to the TFF Sir.
No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it's not the same river and he's not the same man.

Pull up a pew by the fire, pour a glass of your favourite libation and enjoy the banter....
Whitstable is a lovely place I have a few friends there... I do enjoy a stroll along the beach on a winters day down to the pub from my mates place....
