B James Olympic

Post by PondLife »

I've got a couple of B James "Olympics" both in need of full restorations (both totally stripped to bare blanks) . I know they had high bell agate butt rings and high bells throughout, but I'm not sure what style of tip ring they should have. So i'd appreciate any advice and a photo if possible. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Vole. I'd forgotten all about "In the net". Found a decent picture. Unfortunately i've only got one ring of that style in my collection and that's earmarked for a split cane "Avocet" in need of a tip ring. Looks like I'm going to be scanning ebay for a while until a couple turn up.

Try Barney Gallop on eBay....He had a fair few of those tip rings in stock.
