That little spring on a Trudex

Post by The Tuesday Swim »

While doing a spot of spring cleaning on my Trudex, I took the plastic central grommit? off knowing that the release lever has a small spring that tends to fly off into the outer atmosphere.

On this occasion it didn't so I placed the reel carefully on my desk while I tended to another Trudex. While doing this the former reel decided (on it's own) it eject the said spring into yonder...lost for good!

To cut a long boring story short, has anyone got a spare?

Try Gary Mills, if you can get him to reply, that is :-).........

It is just possible to make one with a safety pin , but it isn't springy enough really.

Garry Mills will probably sell you a pack of five, if you say pretty please, ones never enough history has a habit of repeating itself.
I try to be funny... but sometimes I merely look it! Steve
