Some pics of my Auger Teise for Lucky Strike and any other Auger fans.
Finally a pic of the splice repair to replace the missing few inches of top section.

Re: Auger Teise.
Ah many thanks. You’ve done a good job on that splice. Strangely, my spur superior does not have the label but a hand written logo. It arrived today and is a brilliant feeling rod

Re: Auger Teise.
I like that... and The Teise, a river in Kent. ( as you know)
The LAA have a stretch that I fished last season but not this one so far ( have to rectify that)
40 years ago you walked through an orchard to get to the river bank, the orchard is a field now with Horses grazing but its still a very nice spot on the river.
Looks a cracking rod and would blend in and be well suited to a angle the river.
The green and black whippings look great.
Love a rod named after a river.
Thanks for showing us.

The close season is an important and interesting time for the Angler who set out to catch big fish. It is a timely opportunity for him to make new tackle or renovate old. There are no end of jobs to do, apart from those horrible things called Gardens!
